Greetings from Ontario, Canada!!!!

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, My name is Darryl Fraser. I live in Petawawa, Ontario where the bass fishing is amazing. I've been fishing my whole life, but just recently have been attracted to Bass, Northern Pike and Muskie. No matter where we go we catch a combination of the three.

I have a 12' Jon which I just picked up a few days ago, and I love it to death. Finally I can get to those hard to reach , shallow areas. On the stern is a new 4 stroke 3.5hp Mercury (which I might say is extremely good on gas). I've seen alot of people on here modding their Jons and I might just do the same.

Thanks. Darryl.

Welcome.

There's a few of us Canucks here.

I do most of my fishing up your way in and around Deep River.

Welcome aboard Darryl! Glad to hear you are content with your boat. Maybe after you mod it you can post some pics in the show your ride section!

Welcome to the community, Darryl!

Welcome!

Hey Darrell

I live on the Rideau and just joined the forum. I am a convert from living on the St. Lawrence and fishing walleye. Had to convert from mostly spinning gear and trolling and drifting 50 to 80 foot dropoffs to casting in weeds using baitcasters and shallow water techniques.

Having a ball!

My son (in his 20's) competed in a SECO tournament and is also hooked.

Anyway this seems to be a great resource!

I might try a tournament too once I get a little more experience. Ever thought of experiencing a tournament?

Welcome to a great site lots of great people here.

Welcome to the best fishing site on the net.

I used to fish Lake Nipissing. My son was stationed at the NORAD base in North Bay for four years.
