Welcome to the site.

What part of the Heart of Dixie you from?

Welcome aboard from NY !

We were all new to it at one time or another.

I have been playing with those silly green fish {or is it they have been playing with me ?} for 50 years this upcoming summer.

There are four really important things to remember about Bass:

1].. Largemouth Bass are cold-blooded creatures that respond to changes in water temperatures [and other things in their enviorment].

2].. Largemouth Bass are cyclical in their annual patterns, and once you learn their annual movement program, you can be much more dialed into finding them , year to year.

3].. Largemouth Bass will often move during each day, throughout the day, often into the shallows at low light periods of night, and then they move slightly or even considerably deeper during bright sunshine of daylight, to deeper water or under cover to shade and conceal themselves from the bright sunbeams.

4].. This is the most important one.

Just when you think you got them all dialed in and think you're hot "cheets" fishingwise, those silly greeen fish will often stop biting [and move] and truly humble you. ;D

Been there, done that !!

Remember, fishing is 'supposed' to be fun...keep it that way.

Enjoy it always. Some days are just better than others.... 8-)
