Lizards ????

Featured Replies

For those of you that use plastic lizards for the pre spawn bite, what brand seems to work for you  ?

I like a 4 inch zoom lizard in pumpkinseed.

I prefer Zoom 6 inch and Zoom Magnum 8 inch in Black/Blue, Watermelon Candy, and Pumpkinseed

GYCB 7" Laminated Lizards. http://***/cgi-bin/order/13-10-LAM

The plastic is soft and the bellies are a lighter color than the back. The tail has excellent action which makes the bait appear to be alive!

I wish that someone could make me a lizard that actually resembled the colors of a real lizard, something like the fence lizard which is very common across the nation:  http://www.herpsofnc.org/herps_of_NC/lizards/Sceund4.jpg  (that's what the mating colors look like in the spring time

and http://www.herpsofnc.org/herps_of_NC/lizards/Sceund6.jpg  (that's what they usually look like)

I think the fish in clearer water would really go for something that actually looked like the real thing rather than just some general color.

This is my best 3 smallies lizards. Chomper Chomper CHOMPER. And my 4 th choice would anything in the 4 to 5" catgory. BPS has one of the best.

Garnet

i only use one type of lizard and im running out of my reserves, its the fossil lizard made by uncle josh, my favorite color is black neon, i havent even had a chance to use other colors because they seem to really like this one, whats sad is i recently found a ton of them off ebay but they have been discontinued for years, so after losing one here and there its kind of upsetting  :'(.  I think you cant go wrong with the zoom lizards in pumkinseed or green pumkin. Just my .02 cents- Jon

The green with white belly looks EXACTLY like a real salamander (lizard).
