Went out below Pickwick with my Dad today. He wanted to get his boat out and test the motor which crapped out halfway up the river between the dam & the the ramp. We decided to drift back and caught 10 fish. Dad caught the largest of the bunch. I was tickled to see him haul in a good one as he's not up to a lot of fishing the last couple of years. Seemed like old times!

Yeah, it was great to play net man for my father once again. I spent many an hour on the river with him as a kid but I only recently appreciated all the time he spent teaching me to fish and being patient with a restless kid when he could have been concentrating on catching more fish.
