I hear you on the looks. Kind of spacey for me too. I do however like the technology it packs. Curious to try one out.

Yep, looks like a reel that will throw light baits and heavy baits equally as well.

I like the concept, jst afraid to hear what the price will be.

I know the entire fishing community has been on pins and needles waiting for another $500+ Daiwa reel.

Not really Sheemaesque, it looks to me like if somebody stepped on it .

I find the concept interesting however aside from the looks, I´m skeptical about some of the avant garde technological aspects of the reel.

Why I say it has to do with Daiwa´s innovatinesss and when that such bright minded inovativeness don´t work properly on the long ( and sometimes quite short ) run. I remember this reel, added to the computer ( which never worked properly ) it had a very innovative levelwind system that in the practice left a lot to be desired, so in the T3 ..... the whut raises to do whut and lowers when you do whut ?
