Featured Replies

Just a suggestion. I know a few other forums out there that have decals you can buy to represent their site. Id defiantly buy a bassresource one if there was one.

I would buy one too.

i want bassresource gear. straight up store with all kinds of stuff. word on the street is there will be a new tourney shirt so I hope its legit.

I'll take one too. I'll put it on my tow vehicle.

I would buy one.A hat would be great also.

Doesn't this topic come up every so often?

I think a lot of people say they want to buy BR stuff, but they don't keep their word and Glenn is out a lot of cash.

Yeah Glenn got burned pretty bad the last time he tried to sell merchandice here.

I say just have people pay first, then once approved he can send them out as needed.

Perhaps start out with a modest amount of stuff, decals, tshirts, and put them as a sticky in the flea market forum. Charge enough to recoup expenses, and consider it advertising dollars after that. I think with the uplift in traffic, maybe more guys will be willing to purchase something. I for one was not a member when Glenn was "burned"before, but I would pick up a decal or tshirt if available.

Sometimes people (and this not a knock on Glenn) tend to have shirts/hats made that appeal to them, not necessarily to the rest of the forum.

Imo, a simple white or grey t-shirt with a small BR logo on the left breast and a larger logo on the back would have more universal appeal than a collared, polo-style shirt with an embroidered logo or a tournament jersey. I wear t-shirts all the time. I wouldn't be caught dead in a fishing jersey. :puke_blue:

I agree! I just did not like the shirts made up! A simple t-shirt would be nice! Also some decals! I'd throw one on my boat. But i do understand it is business and he doesn't want to loose money!

Jeff

I used to order a lot of shirts for Hooters. If interested, contact me Glenn and I can hook you up with Nelson at Adver T. I am sure we can get a decent price on the screen set up for shirts. If you need an in for stickers, I could ask another person, Luke with Sticker Dude Designs to do them. PM me to let me know if you want some prices.

Good point. I agree completely. A decal is more universal than a certain piece or style of clothing.

What if we pre-paid for the decals? Then Glenn's you-know-what is covered. I would be willing to do that for the sake of the site, even though it might not be a quick turnaround.

I think a decal on a tow vehicle or trailer would be a great advertisement for the site. Too many anglers who could contribute to BR are in the dark. I always check out people's stickers and advertisements when I see them repeatedly in the parking lots of the lakes I fish. A nice decal, combined with a little "dock talk" from members, could bring hundreds if not thousands of new members to Bass Resource over the next few years.

It would be great to have stickers, then if you are at say at the dock and see someone else with a BRsticker. "Hey, what is going on? I am so and so........"

I would be more than happy to prepay. I have an open spot for one on my car right next to my BASS member sticker :)

  • Super User

I'd prepay as well.....

Jeff
