I'm new to the site, not fishing. Grew up in Pensacola,Fl. Started fishing with my dad at the age of 7 for bluegill & shellcracker. One day I was fishing in a local lk in Pensacola I think it was '76 age 11 when a guy in a bass boat gave me a 3.5 LMB. He told me to use a broke back repala slow on top, thats all it took. Hooked on bass fishing ever since. I lost the lure after an hour bank fishing it with a cane pole. The PB bass was caught in Santa Rosa Co.Fl on a 7.5 black culprit worm in '89 she weigh 14.4 lbs and the 3rd cast after that a 10.3 on the same bait. That was my best day on the water with 36 bass caught. Half were over 4 lbs. My lure of choice is the jig and the trusted culprit now in the 10-12 inch length. A fan of the LSU fighting tigers, New Orleans Saints. Dale Jr. (go 88), KVD and bass masters. Bill Dance, Rolland Martin, Jimmy Houston, and can't forget Hank Parker.
