Kut Tail Worm For Shakeyhead And Dropshot

Featured Replies

I'm looking to get some kut tail worms for both shakeyhead and drop shot.

What sizes do you use for each? I'm thinking 4" for dropshot and 5" for shakeyhead?

Also, what colors have worked for you guys?

Thanks.

Those are the sizes I use for those techniques, as for color, watermelon and watermelon red are the only colors I use in the kut tail worms.

Don't just limit yourself to using smaller plastics for either technique. You can catch just as many fish using larger worms as well. Or there are the times that you'll catch less fish, but find that the ones that do bite are better quality.

As far as colors go, something light, something dark, something bright. That'll cover all of your bases.

Shaky worm- 5 3/4 kut tail, purple brown laminate bar none

6 1/2" Kahuna for everything!
