Booyah Counter Strike Defect!!

Featured Replies

I'm a big spinnerbait fisherman and a big supporter of Booyah Spinnerbaits. The first spinnerbait fish I ever caught was on a Booyah and it wasn't the last. I have probably 10 Booyahs in my box and I just bought another 2. One of them was a Counter Strike that I noticed had something wierd done to it. The hole on each blade where the clevis or split ring goes was off center. One was far to the right and the other was so far to the left that it snapped off the clevis. It was probably just one that missed quality control but, I would just like anyone else who goes to buy one check and see if this is a problem with others.

Believe it or don't, but that design detail on that bait is intentional. It makes the blades spin n opposite directions from each other. Dicks used to have these on special every so often. They are ok baits. My issues with them is that I think that the wire is a little than and after a few fish I have to re-tune them That and I think that the skirts are shoddy and fall off too easily.

Ok but I am still confused on how the blade broke?

If you think it is defective , take it back for a refund. B)

I thought you can't after you open the package?

How would you it's defective without opening the package?

Any reputable store will take your word that a product is defective and will readily exchange it. If not they aren't reputable.

Haven't fished the counter strike but I've had lots of problems with the booyah bassinator spinnerbaits. Seems like every one I've had, the blade gets tossed on one of the first jumps when I hook a fish. I know they aren't the most expensive bait Booyah makes but it seems like they would still want to make a quality bait.

If you think their spinnerbait is bad try their counter rotating buzzbait, no don't really. In my experience they are a waste of good money..................Al
