Wow! I'm not much of a TV watcher, but my wife and I try to watch The Mentalist each week. Tonight's season finale was the best two hours of non-sports related TV I've ever watched. Any other Mentalist fans? What's your take on how it ended tonight? Will/can it come back for another season?

Occasional watcher ( enough to keep up with the red john plot line) and it looked pretty final, and a bit short changed. I guess I wanted more answers and to see Jane just kill him was.............. Strange at best. In all the episodes I've seen, never has he even touched a gun.

this is one of my favorite shows. I have it dvr'ed. So I havent watched it yet. But I will probably tonight.

My wife and I have watched it from the first episode, and last night was the best episode yet, and one of the best 2 hours of TV we have ever watched. I do think the show will be back, I think they will either say that was not the real red john, or his minions will continue their nefariousness. It was the first time Jane had ever handled a gun as well, and they still have to work out the possible murder charge on him as well.

Sorry, didn't mean to spoil...........

I just could not get into that show, mainly because I think the guy was just so arrogant.
