I took a very similar series of pictures from the water in KCK yesterday I'll have to post them up tomorrow. There are those times you think maybe you can stick it out on the lake and there's those times you can't get to boat ramp fast enough!

Does anyone else thinks the clouds look like the clouds from the movie Independence Day when the aliens came through the atmosphere?

Root beer is right I does look like the independance day movie that's insane the weather this year has just been unreal

Finally getting around to putting the pictures up that I took from the lake. We were killing them on topwater until this came through and chased us off for awhile!

Thankfully we were just on the south edge of it so we went and ate lunch and were back on the water in less than an hour catching fish again!

yeah those are wicked looking clouds right there in your series of pics. definitely better to play it safe than sorry. i would've been asking for warp drive out of my engines to get off of the water.

That Kansas City air must be toxic...look at the green tint to the clouds. Round here the clouds are fluffy white or dark grey...but not ever green.

Green=hail 95% of the time around here. I don't know why but if it looks "green" outside or the clouds are "green" get inside because it's going to be hailing, and it did that day.

That would explain why we never see green clouds. By the time the hail gets this far down here its already melted and half way evaporized...

Yep you can see the reflection of the water in the second picture and the Johnson motor sign in the bottom left of the same picture from the marina at Wyandotte County Lake.
