I know everyone has small local companies in their area that produces lures and locally they are the hot bait, but nationally hardly anyone has ever heard of them.  I just curious what these baits are for you guys.  For me, I grew up in Hampton Raods, Virginia and there's a guy that makes homemade soft plastics, His business is called "Worminator", and I just moved back from the Atlanta area, and I caught a ton of bass on a jig made near Marietta called a Spanky jig.  Which reminds me if anyone knows how I can get some Spanky Jigs ordered online, please let me know.  Thanks!

I dont know how local they are but I like reaction baits from La. they make a gatordawg or gatortaildawg it's like a brush hog with a twist copper/green.

there is a company around here called et baits that has some good soft plastics...a friend of mine knows the owner of the the company and says if you get in good with him you can get some stuff made that is softer than normal or vice versa...i like plastics that are good and soft for some reason...the fish seem to like them better and i think it changes the action a bit on some of the baits...the et string bean works good as a shakey head worm...its kinda like a long skinny senko

There's a local company called Hawghead that a guy named Rick Anderson (some of you might know him) runs, they make some pretty decent stuff. He just won $5000 in a tournament using one of his senko knock-offs so his stuff definitely works.

Not really a secret but up here in PA we have a small company called Wacky Worm that makes nice plastics.

The 4" frog from The Wright Bait Company, as well as the 5" Salty Slugs are fantastic baits.  In fact, the 5" Salty Slug does better for me than the Senko.

case is kinda like a medium sized company...they are not huge like zoom but they sell baits in several different states i think they are based here in va bu im not sure... i  really like there flukes...they are called a case sinking minnow, they have and excellent action..

Their packaging needs more pizazz.

That D.O.A shrimp has been my ticket for speckled trout lately, haven't tried it for bass though
