What i use and what i should use?

Featured Replies

Ok, so when i was fishing in my pond, i was using a worm with a long tail, the top part was black and the bottom was light green. I had a bite, but it ended up getting off. Whenever i was fishing, he kept on coming by it, but then turns away.

The pond is pretty small, you only see a few bass every day, but there are some big ones in there. It is usually murky/ cloudy, and has a lot of moss in it. What should i use in it?

I would try oxblood, purple, or pumkin green.

Hey Scott, Welcome to BR and hope you enjoy yourself here...We sure do.

If I were you, I'd definitely change it up a bit and maybe go a little smaller or change the bait to a tube bait or maybe a creature bait of some sort. Usually if they will hit a soft plastic once, they'll hit again later...

Hope that helps

A frog will call the bass that you can't see out.  Follow up missed strikes with a Senko, or similar.
