Possible Pb. Did It Break 7 1/2Lbs?

Featured Replies

Just caught a nice bass, measurements were 23"X18". My biggest before this was 7 1/2lbs 21 1/2" but no girth to compare todays fish to. Think I beat my current PB? If so what is a reasonable weight to say this one is? Anyway here is the pic, sure is a pretty fish.

Nice catch if u plug your measurments into the bps calc it comes out to be 7.9lbs the BR calc always makes my fish with the same measurments bigger the the bps one. But I use the formula of L x L x W / 1200 give u a close estimate that's the formula bps uses

Great photo. Beautiful bass, Congratulations.

I'd guess you tied your PB. 23" is about right for a 7 1/2lb fish. Either way it's a really nice fish that anyone would be happy to catch!

Just think if you had a good scale you would know for sure. 6.5 lbs at best by the picture. B)

My PB was a 6.5lber / 23.5". Her belly was all shriveled from recently dropping her eggs I'm guessing. I wish I would have caught her when her belly was full!
