Quick Quick Question

Featured Replies

Hey once again everyone. I have a stupid question but want to know about this. When fishing for bass, will the worms and minnows and senkos I am using also catch Crappie and Sunnies? The reason why I am asking is because I know I am going to have a little bit of a hard time catching those bass until I get more experience and would be happy with just catching a fish lol. Yeah I don't care about what I catch at this specific moment in my beginner fishing life but would definitely prefer bass obviously.

If they can get the hook in their mouth, yes.

Kind of hard for a sunnie to get the hook in their mouths, but I've had it happen before.

If you just want to catch some fish, use nightcrawlers on one rod and artificials on another.

I've caught green sunfish on several different bass baits and have caught crappie on DD22's and 1/2oz jigs. They will hit about anything a bass will it's just a matter of them getting the hook in their mouths.

Like every one else said if it fits in the mouth its fair game. Iv even caught sunnys on larger swim baits they just swat at it and oops sharp hook in the side. But dontforget the toothy guys they will take bass lures all day I got a walleye Tuesday on a rattle trap I was working around the docks with.
