Some of you may be wondering what's that button that appears throughout BassResource.com. The +1 button is shorthand for "this is pretty cool" or "you should check this out." It's somewhat like FaceBook, but better.

Click +1 to publicly give something your stamp of approval. Your +1's can help friends, contacts, and others on the web find the best stuff when they search Google.

One thing that Glenn forgot to mention is that by clicking on that little button it helps BassResource. It doesn't make us money but it helps more people find us. Doesn't it only work for those of us with google+?

It works for people with a Google account. When Google+ goes live everything you clicked on will transfer into that.

Google accounts are free. I've had mine for years and it's been great to have.

I guess I'm dense, but where are the +1 buttons? I'm not seeing them.

At the top of the articles on all the article pages. For example: http://www.bassresource.com/beginner/bass_basics.html look near the top next to the Twitter and Facebook buttons.

Note that the +1 button works similar to Facebook, in that you +1 a page, not an entire site. So as you find pages on BassResource.com (like the homepage, for example), please +1 it!
