i think they are somewhat old, but anyone like/dislike them?

Anything with the Diawa name on them can't be all bad. Your just going to have to experiment with them.

Daiwa not only makes good reels and rods, they make great baits too.

one of my favorite jerkbaits is the daiwa db minnow. Very cheap as compared to a lucky craft pointer or the rapala xrap.

I love Daiwa Peanut cranks. Just change out the trebles!

I've use daiwa jerkbaits, worked on a par with anything else. Out here you don't worry about lure life expectency , nothing lasts too long, I buy what's on sale.
