Soft bait scents. Whats good?

Featured Replies

I like to use scents on some of my soft baits especially on a 6 inch ring worm. does anyone know of a really good scent that they swear by?

You'll probably get a lot of different replies here.  I prefer "Kick'n Bass" Crawfish scent.  I also use some BANG Craw as well.

i dont use scent at all since most baits allready come with some kind of scent.

On all the best fishing days of my life, my lures carried the scent of human hands mixed with fish slime.

Please forgive me for that, but I kid you not.

Google UpperHand Scents, the Hawg Sauce is what I use in my hand poured lures.  The smell is pretty intense!

I usually put a little crawdaddy smelly jelly on my hands before I start fishing, but I rarely put any directly on my baits.

I use scent on all of my soft plastics.  There have been some studies (not done by the manufacturers) that prove a bass will hold onto the bait a lot longer if it has some kind of scent or taste.  I use garlic scent on everything except my jig trailers where I use a craw scent.  I usually use YUM brand.

I the past I have used Bang garlic and crawfish.  This year I am going to try Megastrike.
