A Couple Of Firsts And A New Pb

Featured Replies

Thanks to the help from everyone who responded to this thread: http://www.bassresou...coaxing-a-bite/, I had a real good day of fishing today. I managed to get my first documented jig fish, still one of very few, but looking to change that. I was fishing around getting plenty of short LM on senkos and T-Rig trick worms, but getting pretty agitated with all the short fish. It was over cast today, so I pulled back out my buzzbait, which had been unsuccessful in the morning, and caught my personal best shoal bass, smallmouth of the deep south, on the third cast... at 3 in the afternoon.

Thanks again

Congrats on the PB and topwater bite off the buzzbait.

Thanks guys, I appreciate yalls help on getting this area figgured out.

Endless- get that double blade buzz bait in the water soon, I have torn em up on a big bulky no name one I have, but be ready to change between different buzzbaits.

Yea I just picked me up a Bullseye double keel buzz 3/8 Black, Gold blade by Dave's Tournament tackle that I'm going to try. I try to do some adjusting but cannot get the blades close enough to clank each other. But it does have a nice squeak.

very pretty bass. way to whack 'em. wish we had those around here.
