Is it possible to find a trailer with a similar frame, then get a metal fabricator weld supports to put the bunks in the same positions?

How much damage? Did you tear off the running gear? Twist/bend the frame? I'd ask around about a metal fabricator with a good reputation and some creativity. I've seen skillful, independent fabricators breathe new life into stuff destined for the smelter.

yeah rhino the fram is broke 75% through on one side.....crossmember that should be striaght is now a U........frame is also buckled in another spot.

might have found a trailer that is close enough and move the bunks around at a good welding shop.

just hate to not have a stock trailer but oh well.

My trailer had to be replaced this year, so i ended up buying a new trailer that is really designed for a bigger boat than mine. I love it. Any dealer that sells trailers will help find one that fits your boat. They are adjustable. You might have a little difficulty finding one to fit an Avalanche. Good luck.

I guess I've been doing my redneck engineering too long. I don't think there's such a thing as a TOTALED boat trailer. One nice thing about metal, it can be bent, heated and rebent, welded, cut and rewelded. A tourch and a BFH will get it back in shape, a welder and little reinforcement steel will make it stronger than new. I guess folk in Arkansas don't know how to build anything with nothing. Us old redneck GA boys been having to do that all our lives.
