Because all the other bands that suck all ready did it. I know there has been bands that I like have done it in the past. It's just not the same. They usually play 1-3 songs. That is if there the only ones booked. For the most part they are not. If they are not the only ones booked. You hear the chorus and that's its. I really don't get why people watch half time shows.

a lot of people blame the overhill less edgy perfomances at the SB halftime show lately on Janet Jacksons nipple and Prince's guitar phallus shadow image or whatever you want to call it. though i have to say, i expect madonna to be much better than last years lame worst halftime show ever black eyed peas show, i seriously cant stand them...

I never watch the halftime shows though, i dont like the bands and they never have any draw. I just play some xbox till it's over.

I have given up hope on SB halfime shows years ago. Mute the TV, find something to do, and unmute when the pigskin is flying agin in the 2nd half. I didn't like Madonna when she was young, I'm sure she hasn't imroved with age.

I barely watch the halftime shows any more, but she couldn't do any worse than the Black Eyed Peas did last year.
