btw franco..what color did ya grab that nice fishy on? and howd you have it rigged? the few times ive used them was t-rigged flipping,i think i might try them on a jig or one of them spinner heads or my new scrounger heads

Otters are a great bed bait. I use 1 oz. pegged Tungsten, and 5/0 Owner SSW hook, snelled. This allows me to pitch to the bed, and clench the rod to make the bait quiver in place. Be prepared for the fish to pick up the paddles and move it. if that happens a couple times, I follow up with drop shot rigged kut tail worm.

They are also great for hitting deep weed edges, standard sliding t-rig, just drop them on a free spool, pop a couple of times, hit the next hole. I use them as a change up to the beaver. Usually its one or the other that bass show a preference.

Oh, and color....black and blue for that one.
