I often see the the dozens of new lures coming out or lures that are new to me and just couldn't see it as a fish catcher. My buddy and I split a TW order to save shipping and he asked me to add a Black Dog Shell Cracker. He urged me to get one. I looked at it and the 20.00 tag and said it's not for me. He took that thing out in a recent outing a few weeks ago and blew my doubts away. I wish I had listened to his instincts but I didn't. Wait till next season. Been there ??

Finally one winter while internet shopping the bait monkey got to me. I have yet to catch a fish on it, but havent really thrown it that often. Im fine with baits, my problem is wanting rods and reels.

Do you have better luck working the G2 slow waking it, twitching or cranking it down?

Most of my fish have come ripping the bait back. I keep the rod tip level. More like "bulging" then waking.

First time I fished in a boat with someone throwing a LC pointer. I sore that my husky jerks were just as good until I got outfished about as bad as I ever have. I have dozens of them now.

I am willing to bet the Alabama Rig would do wonders on those big smallmouth down on the river when they are schooling. I just don't know if I could pull the trigger on one of them yet.
