I was watching Storage Wars.

Well there's your problem right there. Storage wars is a terible show. There's no way that any actual business person would act like those idiots do. They'd bid each other up all day long and run out of money. The "values" that they claim are ridiculous too.

You may be right. I am not trying to gather knowledge. I find it entertaining and they have these.

I'm not sure if that show is staged or not, there has to be a lot of "dry holes" and no scores.

It is somewhat staged, in one of the episodes it wasn't edited good enough where the gambler was seen pulling up in his truck with a box, after he opened up one of the lockers he claimed a coins score he just found, but it was the same box. The producers apologized about it and edited it

I read recently that during one of their auctions, some other buyer, besides the cast we see on TV, bought a locker that contained $500,000 worth of spanish coins. Not a bad commission for the auctioneers.

There's another show about buying storage lockers that I like (Auction Hunters). They actually approach it like a business and talk about how many lockers that they buy that are busts. If wanted to see a girl with a big rack, I'd watch reruns of Baywatch.

This Storage Wars show is fake at best. I love how at the end they get to say item X is worth $10K and then that's the profit that they show. Really? How about actually selling it and see what you make then.

Anybody want to take a SWAG at how many homes are broken into each year because some clueless people have to get on a social network site and announce to the entire world that they are going to be out of town for a week or two?

Just like everything else in life, it isn't social media that is the problem. It's the people who get on it. Stupid people should hide from the world, not post proof of it!

There's a website called pleaserobme which takes your "not at home" info from different networking sites and broadcasts it for all to see.

If you post your whereabouts on social media your an idiot. If you post pics of your kids on social media your an idiot. There are way too many weirdos lurking around.
