Baitcast Rod

I'd want another, shorter rod like a 6' 6" for topwaters, jerkbaits, or spinnerbaits. A crankbait rod would be another I'd want to have.

I should of added that I use the 7' MH for worms, jigs, small cranks, and spinnerbaits. I use the 7' 4" H for flipping and frogs. I also have a 7'2"MH I use for lipless cranks, and 1.5 cranks, and I have a 7' 10" MH for deep diving cranks.

How about a medium?

Maybe try a Powell Max 7' M/XF next for light plastics, jigs, finesse stuff, etc.

What would be the best rod for skipping around docks, that could be with ease of use with many different baits?

6'8" M/XF rod with a 2000 spinning reel, light fluoro, about 6-8 lb. can be used for what I mentioned above and skipping.

I reccomend Powell rod, Daiwa Exceler high speed spinning reel , Seaguar InvizX.

Personally, I'd get the 733 Max. Handles a wide range of weights, and the extra-fast tip makes it an exceptional skipping rod.

Well, I'd get that rod, but I already have it lol.

Darn it. You wanted a baitcaster! Sorry, the only baits I skip with a baitcaster are darn big swimbaits.

Haha it's all good! I've never heard of someone skipping swimbaits.

Here you go. 127 seconds of awesomeness.

How about a medium?

A 7'+/- Medium F-EF is a must have for the dinks I catch.;)

How about a 6'9" MH Fast action rod?

Wont handle the lighter baits as well, but it is an option if you have to have that one.

I agree the video is sweet.

I prefer spinning tackle for lighter (<1/2)lures so for another baitcast rod I'd add a 7'6" MH/Mod or Mod Fast deep cranking stick (Lamiglass SR765). For lighter baits and drop shot 6'8" M/XF in spinning or casting works great.
