I have a citica e and carbon lite, never owned an abu reel. It would go on a veritas

for now, possibly a vendetta for matching and balance purposes.

If it were me, I'd be like bird dog and pick up 2 as well. Wish I could find a deal like that at my friendly neighborhood Dick's. Only I would need RH. I have one on a Veritas and love it. 7"3" MH mod with fast tip. 14 lb floro and some scroungers and you will be set.

Is it the reel with the red anodized parts? If it is then by all means I would get 2 of them. If it is not the red anodized ones then I would pass.

Feels smooth, casts great. I'm happy. Citica was demoted from veritas with braid to the lightning rod with fluoro

I love my SX, got one for Christmas and its one of my go to reels. Feels better made and much smoother than a Curado. I have heard a lot of people talking about it being difficult to cast w/o backlashes but I was sailing baits with that thing straight out of the box. Great reel, and that was a smoking deal.
