Hey guys, I was wondering if small bass would eat my trick worms that I have. They are 6 1/2 inches long, rigged weightless on a texas rig. The bass are pretty small, some even less than a pound, but I can catch about 40 of them a day. Thanks in advance.

I've caught bass from 10 inches to 6 lbs. on trick worms. Those bass will definitely bite them. My favorite presentation is weightless t-style but I also t-rig with a bullet weight. Just match the color to the conditions and you'll be in for some fun.

Never used trick worms, but I've caught some pretty small (and I mean really tiny) bass on 6" senkos.

Trick worms are one of my favorite baits because they will catch you all sizes of fish. I've caught everything from little 4 inch sunfish and bass to 5 and 6 pound largemouth and 5 pound smallmouth.

Trickworms are good but if you find yourself not being able to hook up try a zoom finesse worm rigged weightless and twitch it. I guarantee you'll get em.

There is a pond near my home that I go to and catch about 30 small bass as the pond is over populated.

Caught the mother (over 4 pounds) a few years ago.

All on 1) pink trick worms fished weightless or 2) a Rooster Tail.

Lots of fun to catch those small bass one after the other until you get tired and go home.

Trick worms are the are by far the number one producing plastic around here, weightless, super light weight (1/32, 1/16 oz), and shakey heads are all popular rigs for it. I have caught all kinds of sizes on it, I even caught a warmouth that was about a half inch longer than the worm itself.

when i find a lot of small bas i use my diy lure of a circle hook,a berkly power wrigler and some hackel.cuaght like 50 the other day.

Trick worms are great and im going to try wacky rigging with them.

I agree, shaky head is one of my favorite ways to throw a trick and/or finesse worm. I use a 3/16 oz head.

I agree with all of these posts. You can fish it with no weight like the others have posted,I also like it wacky with a Buckeye Flick-it jig. it adds the wright weight to get a bit deeper.

I've always had the best luck with a 3/0 and no weight...throw it out there and give it a little twitch and they go crazy for it, big or small!

Excellent idea. They make a very good wacky presentation.

And don't forget that you can rig them shaky head, too.
