Shimano Sonora Anti Reverse

Featured Replies

I have a Sonora and I took it apart for a cleaning but the anti reverse now doesn't work. Everything else is fine and I lost no parts. Any suggestions?

Did you grease it?

I agree 100% sounds like it has been greased.

The Japanese printing on the front of the one-way bearing pack reads "Use No Grease"

If no grease was used then it was over oiled, or, like Mike said the sleeve was installed upside down.

Should be fat side up.

Tight Lines! :fishing1:

Either that, or he lost the little spring that keeps pressure on the one way pack when AR is turned on.
