Hey guys i have never used the new bottom hopper and i recently got a bunch of the jr. and full size and was seeing which shaky head fits them the best. I was looking at the following, giggy head, gamakatsu skip gap and the picasso. Any opinions for those who have used these baits would be great. thanks

Haven't used the gammys but the picassos are amazing. Super sharp hook and I really like the spring on the head. The spring really makes rigging the worm real easy. Another option that I really like is the owner shakey heads with the twist lock spring.

That is the beauty of making my own, I can custom size the hook and head to work with the bait I want to use. jchez444, tell me what size head you are looking to use and I can make a few for you, I use a spring lock on my shakey heads which happen to be of the round head variety. For example, if you wanted a 1/8oz head, I could make them with a 3/0 and a 4/0 hook and that way if the 3/0 is too small the 4/0 will work. I use a 3/0 hook for 4.75" to 5" worms and 6" worms get a 4/0 hook, that seems to work pretty good. BTW, I wouldn't charge you, just helping out, not knowing which head will work with your baits can get costly since some of those heads are exactly cheap.

The bottom hopper is a very thin worm. I make my own with spiral keeper but it's almost impossible to rig them on it so I cut it down, pull it straight then make a hook at the bottom for the thin worm. So whichever one you choose, make sure it will work with a thin worm!

I recommend the Buckeye spot remover (i prefer the one with the peg instead of the spiral keeper), i also use the gambler giggy head.
