Just joined up today, looks like an awesome forum. I've been bass fishing for two years now and fish about 4-5 times a week when I get the chance to between March and November. I do just about all of my fishing by wading with a baitcaster.

I also like to target catfish at night in the summer and have been meaning to get out and target trout with my fly rod, but once the bass start biting I have a tough time getting myself to go fishing for anything else! I've been meaning to fish for carp too because I see so many huge ones in my lake but bass fishing is just too much fun.

I was just out this morning and caught a couple bass in the 1-1.5 lb range and got a huge chain pickerel to top it off. Great start to the day.

Welcome to THE bass forum. Where are you in Eastern PA? I'm here in NEPA at the top of the Water Gap. I here you about being addicted to bass, but don't over look those carp when bass fishing is slow. They pull like crazy.
