Havoc Pit boss- How do you fish it? What are some Good colors? And do you have to flip/pitch it? What else can you do with it besides flip it? Hows the action and what retrieve is best?

Fish it however you would fish any creature bait..Just picked up 2 packs last weekend and have been slooow draggin it w/ a 3/16 tungsten bullet on the bottom in this cool spring waters.Worked well for a few fish on a slow day.

Has a more subtle action than most "craw" imitations, but thats just what i was looking for! Skeet designed it with a craw & bream crossover pattern in mind.

Next i'm gonna rig it on a swim-jig trailer.

It works great as a trailer for swim jigs, spinnerbaits too. Skeet said it works good as a finnese buzz-frog style lure too!

I love it for pitching into grass but the Big Texas color is great for T-rigging and hopping around rocks. They have quickly became one of my favorite pitching baits. You can fish them like any other soft plastic on a T-rig, C-rig, jika rig, jig trailer, shakeyhead, whatever. I like the Big Texan, Summer Craw, California, and junebug. They came out with some new colors that I like that looks of but haven't got the chance to get them wet yet.

Great bait, as with most creatures, there's no wrong way to fish it. I've caught fish on it under a lot of conditions. Jig trailer, pitched, cast, fished on a wobble head, Shakey head... The best colors for me are GP and GP Purple. I've also done really well on Blue Disco.

Flip/Pitch it.

Yo-Yo swim a T-Rigged one.

A Jig Trailer for all types of jigs.

Try sliding a glass worm rattle into one (you're welcome).

The Pit Boss is are one of my favorite plastics (only beaten by the Fat Ika). My favorite colors are Ockachobee, Black/Blue, Big Texas, and Lime Purple Passion.

i did really good last year carolina rigging them on gravel/sand bars! and of course throwing one on a flippin jig is good.

Totally awesome bait for pegging and pitching, flipping, or casting in heavier cover.

I have only used the Pit Boss for pitching and flipping so far. But its awesome! Its quickly becoming one of my favorite/go to flipping baits!
