First congratulations on ur pictures and the bass u got there.

Some questions:

What is the record in Croatia?

How often a bass over 2kgs is caught?

R u allowed 2 fish with boat in Croatia?

Croatian record is 3,77kg cought 1987.

5 -10 fish cought in Croatia over 2.5kg during one year.

Yes we are allowed to fish with boat but 90% of anglers fish from bank, bicouse our lakes are small.

And we dont have bass in the river.

We catch them on everything equally on crankbaits and topwater and softbaits, but my favorite is softbaits especially Yamamoto Senko and LunkerCity Fin's.

Really nice healthy looking fish. If you don't mind, could you write and tell us something about your weather and geography? That way we would have something on this side of the world to compare it to....

Those are good looking quality bass in the pictures.  Is the Largemouth Bass a relatively new fish to Croatia?  My grandparents came to the U.S. from central Slovakia, and they only ever talked about fishing for trout and eel.

Bass were stocked to Croatia from Hungary sometime in 1950's.

But even today bass is considers as harmful for others fish species, and is not no way protected. :'(
