Im going to have a combo set up for weightless plastics such senkos, flukes, etc.. what line would everyone recommend for this set up? Would braid be a bad line to use?

I would say either a good copoly or braid. I like to line watch while fishing weightless so I'd want something to float.

I use a Spinning set up for senkos. I'm either using powerpro braid 20lb test or a decent 6-10 test mono.

I use fluorocarbon line on baitcasters for Senkos and braid on spinning gear for all other weightless presentations.

I use braid 100% of the time fishing plastics such as senkos. Learning to be a line watcher will improve your catch rate dramatically.

For a spinning rod I will use 20# Suffix 832 Ghost
For a baitcaster I will use 14# Sunline FC Sniper

Spinning gear = 10 or 15 lb braid, casting gear = 20 or 30 lb braid. Fluoro leaders as needed.
I am not afraid to suck.
