I like my Bandits200. Tennessee shad is what I used mainly. I also like some of the Live Targets, Rapala DT series, Xcalibur Xr50 rattle baits/One knocker, Original Rat-l trap,
Oh please dear lord let it be an 8 or more!!

Bomber A, Bandit 200, Rapala DT, Mann's 1-Minus, Livetarget Bluegill, Luhr Jensen Speed Trap, SPRO Little John Baby DD, Livetarget Gizzard Shad. I'm a crankbait freak.

For the traps, any Livetarget lipless crank and the Rattlin' Rapala.

Ask me anything about cranks, I'll give ya an answer.

Rapala shad rap, spro little johns, never tried them myself but have heard nothing but good things about bandit lures. Also like the strike king cranks.

What has been working for you? Have you caught any fish with them yet? I ask those questions because if you don't narrow it down you'll get thousands or answers as we all have our favorite crankbaits. If you are just getting started with cranks I think you'll want to go with shallow running baits and progress to deeper offerings as you get better using them Any of the liplees variety will do well for you, I prefer one knockers like the Rapala Clackin' Rap for colder water/spring and the Bill Lewis Rattle Trap for ripping through weeds in the warmer months. Good shallow running cranks to get are the Manns baby 1 minus, the Manns baby X, Strike King KVD 1.5, Rapala DT Fat 1 and Fat 3.

Got to have some Xcalibur XR50 and XRK50 baits, foxy momma, ghost, gold black back, and rayburn red are my favorites. If you have an Academy close by I would check out the H20 line of baits, great baits and you could really expand your selection without breaking the bank. Bandit and Normans baits are both great baits that aren't too expensive. I love the the Bandit 100 and 200 series baits.
Is it spring yet??

Rapala DT series, easy on the budget specified for certain depths, they run true and come in a wide variety of colors. I'm just not sold on the Sureset hooks. Gonna switch em all out for regular trebles.

Strike King cranks are hard to beat. Can't argue with the success these baits have had in pro tourneys. Rapala DT's are also a proven bait at a decent price.

I mostly use Strike King crank baits. I use the KVD 1.0's, 1.5's, 2.5's Series 3's, 3xd's, Series 5's, 5xd's, 6xd's and Red Eyes. They are all fish catching machines!. I also use Xcalibur XCS 100's, several Bandits, couple Rapala's, and a few Lucky Crafts. I would stick with the brand you catch the most fish on though. I prefer SK cranks, Ive got boxes of SK's. Invest in the brand that you catch most of your fish on.

I'd say fish the ones you got, gain some confidence and expieriance with them. They are all good fish catchers, your not missing any "secret" bite by not having.....insert bait name/brand here.....if they are biting square bills, they will bite that KVD you have as good as anything.
I am not afraid to suck.

Shad raps are very under used in some body's of water. Dt fat 03 is awesome around stumps and bandit 100 and 200 catch fish. Sometime a Norman deep little n is deadly! This is what works for me!
I always catch a limit in practice!
