I tried one of these bb1 in 6:4.1. I have mainly been a shimano guy for reels but this thing is awesome. It cast smooth and reeling cranks it is super smooth.

I have some in the ASR series before they got dropped.Great feeling rods with good balance and power. Great rods IMO ! Now i am mainly using lamiglas rods. Made in USA

Yes people been fishing it and doing pretty good. Myself and some buds caught some good numbers and a few nice ones..got to hit right cuz rain definately made it difficult this year.

Is it louisa resevior? There is an old store where you buy the pass. It is electric only. Was the lake your talking about allow gas motors or is it electric only?

The reel should be fine. Use atleast a 9 ft rod. Get typical downrigs or a fishfinder rig. Where are gonna be fishing? Theres a couple good tackle shops i point you towards.

Hey guys was fishing last wknd. and hit a stump pretty hard and bent the shaft on my bow mount trolling motor pretty bad . Its a older motorguide unit. The shaft is bent right below where the inner and outer shafts come together. Its bound up pretty good. Is this something i can try to bend back or does the unit have to be replaced. First time this has happened. Any info or advice is greatly appreciated.

Next time you should try to net some and take pics. What part of the country you are fishing can help determine what bugs naturally hatch there.

Yes..i have a 7'3 mh xfast and 6'8 med casting in the excel..i love these rods. Light strong and yes..they are made in USA

I used this rig with couple zoom horny toads. After couple tweeks to get them running right i have had good success. No doubles but lots of action.
