Buying tackle
Quite honestly I enjoyed purchasing stuff as much as fishing Notice I didn't say fishing or catching fish with it 95% of my fishing stuff is new and hasn't touched the water I don't need hundreds of lures to catch fish and for years I pretty much fished with the same lures over and over again and caught a ton of fish of course you will have to purchase stuff every now and then, hooks, sinkers and soft plastic baits mostly, a novelty every now and then the BaitMonkey is still siting on my shoulder the only difference is that now it demands other things instead of fishing stuff My 29" Sony Trinitron CRT started acting goofy, took it to the TV repair guy ( man that thing is heavy ! ), let's hope it can be fixed but meanwhile the sneaky little critter is trying to convince me in getting a 51" he saw in FB market place because WE NEED a 51" to hook up all the retro consoles I have hooked to the 29".

A Break From Fishing
SIX AND A HALF YEARS !!!! That's the time I've been in the freezer My mother's illness and her passing away 4 years ago My business picked up also after her death and I needed to work like crazy in order to achieve certain goals I had in mind which finally ended up positively about a year ago Unfortunately I'm trapped yet and can't go fishing How have I dealt with the "itch" ? Videogames, I've been gaming since I was 9 so gaming helps me relax It's not a subsitute though ...

MH Spinning Rod Users ?
I have a 6'6" MH, XF Shimano Compre. I use it as a "general purpose" rod when I'm on foot patrol ( bank fishing ) paired to a Daiwa Exceler 2500/Shimano Sahara 2000 spooled with 8 or 10 lbs test nylon. You can fish ALMOST anything but small/light baits with that rod, the issue is that it's pretty much pool cue stiff and doesn't flex easily so light baits like a 3" senko, a baby fluke an 8 cm minnow jerkbait can't "load" the rod and it takes a lot of elbow grease to cast them far.

Spinning reel spool question...
If I remember properly those aren't riveted but screwed. You can change the T shape grip for an I shape, all you need is to order the part, unscrew one and put in the new one.

what about no wind, u can hear every sound, water like a sheet of glass?
I would pull a Jitterbug out of the t-box and cast n retrieve until my arm turns numb, why ? 1.- I've caught some very nice fish 2.- I like the gurgling sound of the 'bug 3.- It's awesome to se a fish hit it like if there's no tomorrow

Micro Lures for Small Bass
Grab your biggest hard swimbait and throw it, you can bet the little buggers will get hooked just to ruin the action of the bait, that's what happens to me pretty much everytime I fish with hard swimbaits.

Something epic for you to play it loud
Most amazing thing is how she suddenly changes from soprano to growl, completely unexpected.

Something epic for you to play it loud
With all honesty I prefer Floor to Tarja, not saying Tarja isn't a great singer but I like Floor's style and performance much more...... now that I come to think about it, imagine us all 50-60 years old in 20+ years at a retirement home, watching all those 70+ years old farts playing Iron Maiden or Judas Priest songs.

Pond dynamics?
My friend Pedro had a pond in his grandfather's ranch, I estimate it may have been about 100 m in length and 50 m wide, half a hectare in surface, for years we fished that pond and caught nothing but dinks by the truckload, 8 - 12 inch fish all day long, I'm not going to deny it, it was fun because they were always very cooperative. One day we went to fish expecting nothing more but a good time but that day was different, that day I caught my first 10 lber ever, not only that I caught another one later in tha day and lost another biggie right at the bank .... the pond we fished for more than a decade and produced nothing but dinks. So to answer to your question, yes, there is the chance that there might be something bigger and like in my case, it may take years before you catch it but you won't know if you are not there fishing, who knows ? maybe you will be there, that particular day.
