I think there are way to many delusional football fans and "experts". I see them talking about how the jets have a chance and how the game could be close and what the jets have to do to win. the reality is they cant win. They wont be in the game after the 2nd half. They just dont have the horses. The Chargers could beat them by 20pts. They wont though. They will have a big lead and the jets will score some points durring junk time so it wont be that bad on paper. Revis is good but Jackson is better. People think its because the bolts receivers are big. They are but thats not why the passing game is soo good. Rivers throws perfect passes. Revis cant defend a perfect pass thrown to Jackson. The colts will get challenged but will pull out a close one. The saint wake up and win. dallas and GB I dont know. that ones tough

Get some Christmas trees and put them in a bucket of cement. Then throw them or drag them out into the pond. You just made your own cover. If the lake is as featureless as you say, you will make the fish go to that spot. Look for any contour change or exit road etc, and thats where you should put your trees

I hope he gets the tie. He submitted the weight at 22lbs 40z. Not bigger, but the same weight. This is the weight after they checked the scale used to weigh the fish. Soooo the 2oz rule is not an issue for this fish.

Raul's idea is good but not feasable. the all tackle world record is just that. ALL TACKLE the biggest ever caught by legal methods. Hey if somebody were to catch the second or 3rd biggest bass on an artificail he could clam the biggest bass on anartifical. But still not the biggest bass ever. There is only 1 IGFA all tackle world record foe each species.

My point is.... superbowl, big deal. They have already won one recently. There have been tons of superbowl champions. Big deal. There is a new one every year, big deal. Undefeated throughout and a superbowl champoin ????? = the greatest football team in history. Now that realy is a big deal. At the beginning of the season the goal is to be SB champ but if the oportunity arises for football imortatity you should try for it. They will probably never get that chance again but they have a chance at the SB every year. The colts are an awsome team but by playing it safe it was a cowardly move. Go for greatness. Its not like Payton is injury prone.

Congrats on your quitting. mmmmmmmmm Beeeaaachnuuuuut !!!!!! yummy I chewed for about 15 years about 2 pouches a week and then I just decided to quit , so I did. I had quit before for several months at a time. No biggy for me. I can quit when I want to. The last time I quit it was for about 4 or 5 years. Then just recently I felt like buying a bag. It was glorious!!!!! I know its bad for me so I figure one or two bags a month. I do like it though, If it wasnt bad for me I would do it a lot more. I dont like the can stuff. I want chaw!

Last year I went 5 times and limeted each time with 7 ducks. Shovelers,teal and misc divers. I went yesterday for my first trip and I only got 1 Green wing Teal. My buddy got 2 shovelers. They were out in the water and just not getting up much. I did mis a couple of makeble shots but I took a bunch of realy long shots because I didnt have much oportunity. I did have 3 snow geese fly by but they were just out of range. i would have tried it but they were heading towards my friend and I didnt want to spook them. They ended up turning just before they would have been over him. I hunt on the Salton sea. Its huge and the ducks will just sit out there away from the blinds. It takes a windy day to get them up and moving. We had no wind. I will go again when its windy and I will post pics.

Not realy but that was pathetic. How many superbowl champions have there been? I cant remember who won the SP 5 years ago and dont realy care. BUT I know the 72 Dolphins went undefeated. I know the Pats did it except couldnt finsh. How lame is it to say that the goal is a SB win when a perfect season is within reach. They could have been remembered as the best team of all time and now they are just another good team. Its like the coach was afraid to try and win so he could have an excuse if they lost. Now they deserve to get beat in their first play off game. You know what else I am sick of hearing? That they have the longest winning streak! NO THEY DONT!!!!!!!! They got beat by my Chargers in the first round of the playoffs last year right in the middle of the "record" winning streak. The Pats had their streak throughout the playoffs and a SB and almost another one. They won thier games when it mattered. Its not even close. Tha Pats have the longest winning streak. Now I Hate the Pats but I gotta give them props. I am just disapointed that Indy Wussed out. They will loose to my Bolts!!! Ha ha. And what in the world is happening over in the NFC Saints? Vikings? With the Cowboys and Eagles its toss up.

If you carve a master I know sombody who will make a mold and cast a bunch of baits for you. Unless you plan on making a lot of them, paying sombody to make a custom mold wont be cost efective. What are your intentions? If you plan on selling them then having them done for you would probably be your best option. If you only going to make a few then you should just make your own mold. Is the shape of the head basic with no undercuts? if so then you can make a temporary mold out of bondo. If your design has a lot of detail and undercuts then you will need a flexable mold that can withstand heat.

RW is good! I went to a lake today that is known for small fish. It was the only one open today that allowy private boats and I just wanted to take my boat out. I suck at catching small bass. I caught 1 on a LC jerk bait that was about 1.5lbs. It was cold too. My boat was frozen from the dew. Its Ok though It has been months since I had my bass boat out and I was having fun trying to learn my electronics. I do plan on chasing numbers a little more this year but its kinda hard to do when I live next to an ocean. I would rather go catch salty bass then work for small lmb. I definatly pick and choose the prime times for a bunch of different species, not to mention hunting. This year I predict I catch another all tackle world record(salt water fish). I came real close in 09 a few times so in 2010 I am going to make that my goal.

I think they should just skip all the wild card games and let my bolts beat up the colts again and let the saints and Vikes play. I wouldnt bet on a colts/saints superbowl. And just think at one point the broncos were 6-0 and the chargers were 2-3. WOW Rivers for MVP

There are a couple lakes in So Cal that have some very big fish. The biggest bass of 2010 will come from So Cal or Japan. Every single year a bass over 18lbs is caught from here. The next WRB should come from Japan. Kurita says there are bigger ones and he would know. He is a stud. I think those are the only 2 possabilities on the planit right now. WRB I think there are a couple lakes here that dont allow dads or shinners unless bought at the lake but I am not totaly posative. Pretty much all of our lakes have the mussels anyways so it shouldnt matter

Dr Pigg WRB would be a great choice. I wouldnt mind stiching some jigs with him. Unfortunatley Bill Murphy is no longer with us. He died from skin cancer a few years ago.

Mike Long is very aproachable. He is doing a seminar in a couple weeks and he going to make it more like a classroom then a presentation. You can pick his brain all you want. He is very helpful. I also agee with the others. As much as I think the pros are studs their style of fishing doesnt get me excited. I have also met and talked with most of them. Most are friendly and easy to talk to. A long time ago I was a little star struck but now I see them as fisherman just like me and have no problem talking to them just like the guys in a tackle store.

I have not done a skin mount but I have done many reproductions. Some bought and some made from my own molds.

Saints and the Chargers in the superbowl!

Dang pgersumky you bring a bunch of stuff . I always have a camera and a scale. Sometimes a stringer, knife, pliers, flashlight. It depends on my back pack. I have 3 of them. One for night fishing, one for saltwater and one for day time freashwater. They are all stocked and I just put the camera and scale in which ever one I am using. A lot of times I go at the last minute so its nice to just be able to grab a pack and a couple rods and go.

Rivers is one of the best right now. If any team could pick a QB to build their team around he would be#1 or #2. Breeze would be the other top guy. Brady and Payton are slightly better but they are older. Rivers is probably the most under rated player in the NFL because he plays on a small market team. I would rank Rivers in the top 5 of all curent players. I dont think he has ever lost a game for his team. He also makes just about no mistakes and out of the very few pics he has most of them hit his recievers. All the experts Rank him very high. He does all this with a weak line and he is constantly preasured. He has almost no running game for support. He makes all those passes when the defence knows he is going to pass. He makes every throw there is and continualy brings his team back in the 4th quarter to win. He is that good! The only argument against Rivers is lack of a ring, but this a team sport and we are comparring individuals. The top current QB's are Payton, Brady, Breeze and Rivers. They are the top tier. Most of the football "experts" and writers agree on this.

i think Paul needs to teach me how to use my baits I think he catches more fish then I do. Paul you couldnt be more right. I managed a couple ponds years ago and the formula realy is that simple. Soo many people think the only reason the bass get so big in Cali is the trout. That is part of it but they dont realize how much C&R of trophy bass is practiced here. I have heard of tires being slashed from sombody who kept a big bass. I remember I got in an internet argument with aguy who actualy said you should keep all the big bass so the little ones could grow big. Sometimes its like trying to reason with a drunk. You obviously get it and are reaping the benefits of proper management and skills with the rod. Thanks for posting about the minnow!

Congrats. thats a good looking fish. I think your estimate is good. Those are realy hard pics to judge because you cant gage length but I would geuss it around 5. Golf pond?
