  1. I got one through GE Money for part of my fiancee's ring. No gimmicks. I read the fine print and it was what it said it was. No interest for 12 months. After 12 months its 29.99% though! Dont plan on using it outside of the ring though
  2. I find that pandora mobile has much less ads. I listen to it 8 hours a day almost at work and hear 1-2 ads a day. I agree with fourbizz, their "similiar" is a little too loose
  3. I have a 2000 civic that I love. Bought it in 05 with 107k on it. Got the timing belt replaced right away for $500ish. The AC went out on me around 140,000 and would have cost 1000+ to fix. I've been without AC for 3 years lol. I'm pretty rough with it. I bought a CAI for it and love to hear it revved up. Just started to leave a little oil... not sure where it's coming from yet, but i have 198k on it now. Besides those two things it's still holding together great and I recently got 37 mpg on it. Norm for me is 34 or 35.
  4. Ok so i've seen your dad and now your mom... I have one question. Are you sure you weren't adopted? Those are some amazing pics bro. I've seen a lot of your moms work and it always amazes me. She is very gifted. Alaska is where your ideas can really shine as the amount of "picture moments" there is unbelievable. Send your mom a kudos for me
  5. I figured there are plenty of people on here that have nothing better to do... might as well Yep. Besides October 9-10 and October 30-31 I have all of October to get out. Cuththroats?
  6. Yep... I strategically planned the post of these pictures so somebody could get a kick out of it. Congrats on being the first
  7. Attachment A: Proposing this weekend.... Attachment B: XD 45 has nothing to do with attachment A
  8. Gotta agree with you. I felt no "tingly" feeling while watching this. :-/
  9. I figure my situation is a little better. I'm going from Cali (a very strict gun state) to nevada (A very relaxed gun state). It could be worse and I could be doing the opposite
  10. Haha, I smell a hijack... how in the world did this become a poll? I didnt do it.... :-? Anyway thanks for the thoughts guys. I'm gonna make a phone call soon and get an answer
  11. Ok so i've searched the internet but couldn't find any defined answer. Here is the situation - I just bought a handgun in California. I'm going to Nevada on Labor Day in the desert to do some dirt bike riding and wanted to pop off a few rounds while i'm out there. Is it legal to shoot a handgun in a different state than what it is registered in? Obviously California is VERY strict with guns, but it appears Nevada is pretty chill about their gun laws. Anybody have the legal answer for me? Thanks
  12. I second that. Books would have cost me $600. Got them at chegg.com for $200
  13. This post is useless without pictures ;D

  16. that is the coolest way to lose your dog, ever. I agree, but from what I was told the lady in the video didn't think so! ;D I was at Dillon Beach up in Norcal. It's a pretty popular place during the summer for campers. At the beach they have 1 long dock where most people crab from. At it's highest it's probably 6 feet above the water. A lady was playing fetch with her lab, once the dog got the stick after jumping off the dock it would swim to shore and then walk to the lady on the dock. Well I was in the store about 300ft away when I heard screams. I go outside and see the last bit of big splash next to the dock. Guess a shark decided to play "fetch" with this dog. Pretty crazy stuff!!
  17. From my hiking trip last week. Weirdest feeling when they started sucking between my toes and underneath my feet

  20. HAHA! Nice bro. If that happens when we go in July it's every man for himself and your on your own. ;D
  21. First off, those who don't like metal, leave your negative comments about this genre on your own thread. http://www.examiner.com/x-6316-Des-Moines-Rock-Music-Examiner~y2010m5d24-Slipknot-bassist-Paul-Grey-dead-at-38 I've always wanted to see these guys in concert and they were one of the first metal band I started listening to 8-10 years ago. Sad to see artists go like this. Although the autopsy hasn't been done, it seems to obvious sign is overdose :-/ Curious as to what the band will do now...
  22. Little late on this, but this is the worst mount I have ever seen in person. This company had more mounts hanging on the wall, but this one makes me laugh every time. Pay special attention to the company name...
  23. Went to the usually high sierra brookie/cutthroat lake with my dad opening day. It's a 3 mile hike in and due to the great snow storms we've had we walked to last 1 mile on snow. Even though both of the lakes that we walk by were ice free, our lake was not... :'( The next two weeks were riddled with more storms and my next trip was soon approaching. I was taking a buddy for a two day trip to this lake for his birthday. He had high hopes of adding Lahonton Cutthroat's to his fishing resume. Not knowing the lakes situation yet again, I took another gamble. Decided to sleep in the first day and try the afternoon bite. During the hike I find that the 1 mile of snow on the trail is down to about 50 feet in an isolated section, so the signs are good that the lake is ice free. After many stops (due to his 2 rebuilt knees) we make it to the lake to find it ice free!!! ;D. We fish about 3 hours without a bite, being in float tubes in 40 degree water makes this time of slow fishing feel like twice as long. At about the 4 hour mark he makes the discovery that he also has leaky waders, making it even more unbearable for him. WHAMMM.... fish on for me!!! After nearly taking the rod out of my hand I'm rewarded with a great 3-4 minute fight with this fish which pulls me around in circles. After a fun fight, I pull in a 21" cutt, close to my PB. After a few pics and release I start fishing again. 2 casts later Ryan asks how I am working my lure, I start to show him and BAMM, another fish on ;D This time just a 17" brookie. I catch another 2 in the next 30 minutes while Ryan misses 1. After giving him plenty of crap, I realize he's been fishing for 5 hours with 1 bite, leaky waders, and I already have 4 :-/. At the 6 hour mark he finally hooks into one, I watch from a distance as this fish pulls him in circles, finally boating a beautiful, FAT, and full of eggs Lahonton Cutthroat! It's my goal to show him how to hold bigger trout : We call it a day, go back to the hotel, then back on the trailhead at 7am the next day. This time we fish for about 5 hours, him getting 1 brookie and 2 for me. We call it a day and a successful trip. Ryan was happy to add the Lahonton Cutthroat to his list. Two days later my dad and I go for round two. We were able to both put 6 in the boat, all brookies. Kept one that was 18" and appeared to have been attacked at one point. Not sure if it was from the local beaver, or the eagles... Always have a good time with the old man and enjoy watching him catch fish... unfortunately I called it quits early as my shoulder wasn't to fond of 3 days of back to back fishing. Still had a wonderful time and may get one more trip up there during the spring for a shot at some big cutts. Also got some big trips planned this summer for some amazing HIGH sierra hikes
  24. Battery A few years back I had a similar problem with my 2000 civic. It's an automatic and it would die when I came to a stop as well as idling in the parking lot. Replaced the battery and everything is ok now.
