c'mon guys i know someone has tried to mount a trolling motor by themselves give me some ideas of what ineed to do and the pitfalls i am likely to encounter. only about six weeks till we realy start fishing

go to google and look for the hydrilla gorilla. they sell plans and have some great ideas

i have a g3 1448 aluminum jon boat w/ a front deck. i would like to mount a foot controlled minn kota on the bow. how big do i need in thrust? how do i mount it, at what angle, are there any web sites with info? i dont want to drill too many holes.

monroe ga, plenty of small lakes around,as well as big ones.fishing is good , but we have alot of pressure. fish out of a wide 14 ft jon boat, trolling motor only. will be looking for a 10 hp soon

i have a fishin buddy, not worth it. i fish small lakes and the cone angle shows very little of the bottom. the water is just too shallow. if u do get one think about the depth and go cheap temp is important
