the dnr just fertilized some of the ponds i fish, the water is green , u cant see anything, any advice? i have caught a few on my cranks, just throming alomg drop offs and parralleling the shore. i would like some advice on worming,my elbows cant take much more cranking.

99.9%i go alone,i work weekends so no one around to go with, cant talk the wife into going.sometimmes my brother will visit and we will hit it hard for a few days.it isnt always about fishing, sometimes its about just being out.

ok went to varner today, all kinds of bass on the bed.75 degree water.i know i saw bass on the bed in the first two weeks of april. caught a couple of nice ones on a worm and fluke.when will this spawn/post spawn end?

i too have an abu eon, i thought mine was the only piece of crap they made, did not last one season.

i have not fished varner this year yet,always too windy when i hae a chance to go, i will go fishing monday, either varner[or fox at cewc. it depends on the wind.i really guess i have to slow way down

do u think the large bass caght at those little lakes in ca.count? from what i understand those fish are fed a nice diet of trout. any opinions?

i to would also go on the lo side as far as price. i bought a bottom line with sidefinder and thought i would kill them with all my new knowledge,NO. u need temp and depth,look for edges anddropoffs. dont go crazy with the money.

i am running a MK on my 14 ft jon.i have both MK and MG motors, that i use on my transom. the MK i have never had a problem with, the MG is held together with duct tape and wires. i dont believe that the word digital applies to a dc motor.the only thing digital on it would be the controls, and they are just switches.i think the word digital is used for marketing.

i have a 14 ft g3 1444 jon . i use a 46 lb motor on the bow it works fine

i fished out of one for years, they are geat for one guy, 2 men and it gets tight.i would buy the bigger 10 ft one. one guy can stand up in it

i fish mostly small lakes alone. the boat is rated for a 25 hp, but that is way more than i want to spend.i would like to be able to fish some larger lakes on ocassion.so the question relly is would a 5 hp do the job well enough or do i relly need a larger motor?

i have a 14 ft jon boat, it is a wide boat that weighs 270# empty. iam wondering what size motor to put on it. would a 5 hp work or do i have to go to a larger motor
