  1. A chip that big out the blade will do it. I don't know of higher speed prop's though. :-/
  2. You are wise grasshopper. 8-)
  3. At that age most could really care less about morals or values, or right and wrong. As long as it gets them the attention of others or makes them fit in. Most of the kids involved with this probably had no intention of even doing anything but who knows. There were probably one or two ring-leaders and the rest followed. One kid said "Hey I got an idea", another chimed in, and the rest followed. And as being 3rd graders, they probably had no idea how serious of a matter this is today, and how much coverage it would get. As for morals being taught at school or by parents. They are going to get some of their own thoughts and opinions from school through their friends and peer groups, and some from their parents. They are not getting it all from one and not the other. No matter what, schools will have a role in what values your child has not because of what the teacher is teaching, but because the influence and ideas of his or her peers. Don't like it? Home-school them Discipline in schools needs to be reconsidered too. It just isn't harsh enough imo. Say I do something stupid, I get suspended. Do you know what that means in the mind of a teenager? VACATION WEEK. The only lesson they will learn from this is through their parents reaction to their suspension. It is not a double-edged sword like it should be.
  4. I already have one on my boat. You know, the one where the kid that has that hat on backwards peeing on the logo. ;D
  5. Sounds great. Wish I could be there, I have a Trail Tourney a hour down the road at Webster. Catch em up guys.
  6. Don't worry it wont continue like that. Here is the Met's projected average runs a game by month.... May.....9 June...7 July....5 August...3 September...1 October....N/A
  7. Cuts through like nothing. Atleast with Power Pro and Suffix anyway. Who knows, maybe New England just has sharper rocks. :

  9. I am not sure its that cut and dry. thats why i was wanting some experienced opinions. Many people claim that fish aren't capable of seeing the line and some swear that they can't catch a fish unless they have a mono leader. I am not sure. My opinion is that it doesn't matter on fast moving baits like traps, crank baits, spinners, etc... I haven't decided if it does on clear lake plastics....ie worms, tubes and lizards. Just check out one of LBH's video's (The Fall Feed really shows it). You can see the super clear water we fish, about 15' plus. There has never been a consistant difference in fish catches with someone using braid vs. mono or fluoro. I think most people stay away from the braid in super clear water because most super clear lakes up here contain lots of rocks. And rocks and braid don't mix ;D

  11. I wouldn't want to be seen on the field wearing that jersey with those guys either.
  12. Lots of big smallies around here come on deep diving cranks. Why not, as long as it gets down to them.

I don't care, whatever it takes to get the job done. Being very brand loyal and only fishing certain baits can hurt you imo.
  14. For the most part it is another one of those personal preference/confidence issues. Whatever floats your boat. :-/
  15. Didn't realize it.
  16. A bunch of 3rd graders bring things to school to kill a teacher because she yelled at one of them for standing on a chair? A rock to knock her out, hand cuffs, a knive ect. ect. And even paper to cover the windows so no one could see in the room. http://news.aol.com/story/_a/cops-say-3rd-graders-plotted-attack/20080401150309990001
  17. Just a heads up, towards the end of last year some people in the Northeast had issues Gammy Superline and G-Lock hooks. I had a few g-glocks bend out in fish on 8 pound line and snapped a few Superline hooks on 20 pound braid. Hopefully just a bad batch or something. :-/

It is a good school, but they obviously need help in their admission's department. The funny part is, they all look proud of their accomplishment. :
