i would have to disagree and say stocked trout for us guys out west. I wonder if they put 100 bass in a tank with a 100 crawfish, bluegill, shad, trout, shiners, minnows, tilapia...etc., which would get eaten first?

but if its an oil based attractant, then it stays on because oil is hydrophobic meaning it repels the water and stays on longer as it slowly disperses into the water

thanks for your advise. ill try a couple combinations and see what works for me as i see that, like most things, we all very different views. btw got skunked today. were just at the end of a cold front with another coming so it was tough. and murky water, which i am not used to.

looks nice, i did the exact same thing the other day with a friends hula popper. it was black and i only had the quickskirt that looks similiar to a rainbow trout...an interesting combination.

What is the best line for cranks and spinnerbaits? Right now I have braid on my crankin' stick. Should i use a flouro leader? Or should I switch to just mono or flouro? I'm going out today for the first trip of the year. Will be leavin in a couple hours. ;D thanks

i have some in the 5.5 but i didn't get to strong of a bad smell. the smell is present but i have to stick my nose a half inch from the bait to smell it.
