Who'd You Guys Get?
Woo Daves is here in Virginia again. He was behind the fishing counter this past Saturday making recommendations on baitcasting reels to customers. His seminar last year that he did in the Richmond BPS store last year was a disappointment. I will be going to see the local guide seminars instead this year.

Chatterbaits?
Yes they have a spot in my tacklebox, I usually have a baby craw on them as a trailer. I catch quite a few fish each year on chatterbaits.

Mattlures Ultimate Male Blue Gill
Thanks for the tip SPEEDBEAD, there is a note on the mattlures web page that says to put it in hot water up to the fins so they can be positioned properly. I will do the tail as well to soften it. I am really looking forward to trying this bait out, I am hoping it helps me catch some hawgs.

Mattlures Ultimate Male Blue Gill
Matt, I just bought one of these baits, I've hesitated in the past because I had not seen one in person. Well a tackleshop near my house started carrying them and I decided it was time to check them out. When I took it out of the package to check it out I was really impressed with the bait and the detail of it so I decided to buy one. I am looking forward to trying this bait out this season.

Differences in Frogs
The Tru-Tungsten Mad Maxx has 3D eyes and a keel design for easy ''walk the dog'' action. It also features tungsten rattles for extra attracting power, a pro drain to keep water out. The BPS Kermy Frog has superactive silicone rubber legs respond to every movement of your rod tip.

rage tail frog
I have caught at least 200 bass over the last two years on the Rage Tail Toads. I have some toads that only lasted one fish and others that lasted multiple fish. I don't know if I have noticed a difference in the coffee scent yet or not, the jury is still out on that. I think the action is what drives those bass crazy, they can't stand it and they slam the toads as a result.

NFL overtime rule
I think there will be a serious discussion at the owners meeting in reference to this. I think they should play an entire extra quarter, then sudden death if they are still tied.

ragetail storage
If you want to make sure that the baits provide you with the best possible action, the answer would have to be YES. Big O had the baits put into plastic clam shells to make sure that we get the best action out of each an every bait every time we pull one out and fish with it.

all the rage
I don't think I could just pick one of the baits. My choice depends on where I am fishing and the type of waters I am fishing. I like throwing the toads and shad over grass mats and around lilly pads, pitching the craws and lobsters to cover and boat docks, swimming the smokin roosters, eeliminators and space monkeys. The Anaconda works really well on a keel weighted hook and tx rigged. I have also had good luck throwing the lizards on a jig head. Just my 2 cents
