My daughter-in-law is addicted to catfishing. I am in process of getting my daughter hooked. The wife is not into fishing, she just likes to ride in the boat.

Jay I am going to ask ask Danny on Tuesday about the other catfish that was caught. I was told by one of the guys in the office that has fished there. We need to take Stephanie out there so she get get her first trophy catfish.

Andy and I went to Lake Royal this morning. It was a chilly 40 degrees and heavy cloud cover. Andy kicked my behind today and caught three LMBs to my one LMB (a dink). I have attached a picture of Andy and the first LMB that he caught. I did not take a picture of mine due to size. I caught mine on a white and blue spinner.

Buying gold right now may be a dangerous move. The price has climbed pretty high and it is due for a correction at some point meaning the price will come back down. One of the key things pushing gold higher is the weaking of the US dollar/currency vs. the Euro. There is a chance gold could still climb considerably higher before it peaks and that is where the speculation comes in that drives up the price. Investing in the right coins both gold and silver tend to be a wiser long term investment. You really need to decide if you want to make short term or long term investments. The US mint started the presidential dollar sets this year in both silver and gold, obviously the gold sets will be more expensive but they will appreciate considerably faster to, but both coin sets will appreciate considerably. Silver Proof Sets (State Quarters) Example: The State Quarter Silver Proof sets sold for approximately $30 to $35 each. The first couple of sets/years are now worth between $300 and $500. OK guys, this is my first year as a boat owner and I am curious about what it take to winterize the outboard motor (25hp 2 stroke). I have already got the gass and water out of the motor by disconnecting the gas line and running the motor until it ran out of gas. What else do I need to do? My gas tank is removable and I will use the gas for the lawn mower and snowblower so I don't need to worry about gas stabilizer. Do I have to do anything to protect the cylinders? If so what products do I need and where can I buy them and how do you use them? Do I need to run antifreeze through the motor. I already disconnected the batteries (trolling motor and outboard). I also need to drain the water trapped in the live well pump. The cost to have it done at the local boat shop is $150. I am just wondering if I should just do the work myself and save some money for fishing gear. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Look for the baitfish would be the main one I can think of. I would also work the deeper water with crankbaits and jigs.

Nice catch Phil. I have only fished Lake Anna a couple of times and did not catch many fish. I am hoping for better luck next year.

Jay, I just put in a leave slip for the week of Thanksgiving so I should be good to fish all of the days. Your sister does not get in until Wednesday night so she won't be able to fish. Maybe the Friday or Saturday after Thanksgiving she would be able to go fishing depending on the the weather.

Jay count me in for both Satudays and possibly the weekdays to if I can get the time off.

They will have to play with the same intensity that they played with last night, all season long. That Steelers Patriots game should be a good test for them. Any team can beat any other team in any given week if they play smart football. In my opinion, I think the Patriots will win it all and finish with a perfect season.

It was only the Jets game. Don Shula does not want his team record broken by the Patriots because of spygate. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and in the end it is just one man's (Don Shula) opinion. As for the Barry Bonds issue, the guy who bought the homerun ball sought opinions and decided to brand the ball with an asterisk and then give it to the MLB Hall of Fame, it is not MLB that is doing this.

I buy my gas at either Costco or BJs and get my gas 10 to 15 cents a gallon below all of the other gas stations. I paid 2.67 just the other day.

Matt, You certainly can be a rude person when you want. It's not like you made the right call about who would win the game. People ar entitled to their opinions and views that is whats great about this country, but I guess if you had any class you would realize that.

I am hoping my friend lets us back out on the water again soon. There are some big LMBs in that pond and I for one would like to catch one and get a citation for it and have a replica made for the house.

If the Pats played the way they did in the fourth quarter for the whole game it would have been a rout. It was a close game because of the costly turnovers and penalties. But the Patriots scored 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter in Indy, that say it all. When these teams meet up in January it will be in Foxboro and the Patriots will shut down the Colts again, I predict an undeated season for the Patriots.
