  1. We have the oposite problem here. Foutunes owed and payed to cool things.
  2. I got news for you. If it is actually doing what you said it is in the transmission. Putting 7 qts. of oil in the engine will not affect it. It could be vaccuum lines to a servo , or a host of other things. something is causing the valve body to either have the shift sequence off or you could have a torque convertor acting up. If it is in drive and not moving it can be the convertor or the bands.
  3. Neat boat. I agree with some of the others though. If you foul either prop your you know what. I would stay out of any matted grass.
  4. I cannot plan my trips around any weather related issue. I just go to the lake and start putting together a pattern for the time I am on the water. You have to be on the water to do that so just hit the water and git after it.
  5. Ok guys, ya'll brought it up. One of you take the the bull by the horns and research it for all of us. Great question by the way. I would be interested in the DO answer my self. Get us some backed up info that will support your findings.
  6. Welcome Enjoy Deeper humps, ridges, pond dams, river or creek channels 12-30. Thick matted grass if any available. With frogs, worms, or plastics of your choice, jigs with a crawworm trailer, or DD-22 crankbaits. Good luck
  7. Welcome Enjoy Be careful on Toledo.
  8. And we all will get a letter from the UK stating we have won a million dollars, just send us your personal information.
  9. There is a tube that runs down into the lower unit. I would not worry about it. I've never seen one that was accurate anyway. A waste of time as far as i'm concerned. The one on my Skeeter has not worked in a long while. I noticed last trip that it was showing 38mph and I was well over 50. Go figure.
  10. Welcome Enjoy
  11. Welcome Enjoy
  12. Try some Suffix. It solved alll my braid problems.
  13. All brakes either off or taken out here.
  14. If it's mono, every reel I fish gets respooled that night. I use a lot of backing so it does not run into a big expense. IF IT'S FISHED THE LINE COMES OFF THAT NIGHT OR BEFORE IT GOES BACK TO THE LAKE. This keeps backlash problems to a mininum and I don't remember the last time I got broke off. Braid gets changed about every two months. I refuse to cut corners on line or terminal tackle of any kind.
  15. X2. And take it to a mechanic and have him check it out. Do not take anyone's word on the shape of any boat and motor. It will be the best money you ever spend.
  16. Welcome. Join a club to get the experience. Work your way up from there. The club circuits are the greast teaching tools for those interested in moving up the latter.
  17. Congratulations. Hope it is the first of many.
  18. If the rpms are the same it could be a spun hub. If the rpms are down it could be the fuel or a number of other things. Check the compression and check or change the fuel filters for starters. Paint a line across the back of the hub, run it a while and then look to see if the line is still straight across. If it is not the center hub has spun. About a 40-50 dollar fix.
  19. They are Navionics maps. About as detailed as any others.
  20. I get paper maps at BPS or Academy in the Houston area.
  21. We refer to this as jiggerpoling. You start a cadence and tap the water with the end of the pole ahead of the spinnerbait. It is deadly at night if fished correctly.
