  1. I don't like it either. That does not mean that it will not work for you. Since you have allready paid for it and it is spooled go fish it and you make the decision. I am sure there are plenty of people that do like it so make the decision for yourself. Report back to us and let us know what you think.
  2. For personal safty a gun should always be considered loaded.
  3. Welcome to the forum Fish your strengths. Tune out the other boats Tune out any dock talk Cover water until you get bit. then fish it carefully That's about all I can help you with due to the limited information you give . Good luck
  4. Thumb and palm pictures would be nice. LOL.
  5. Tell them you stayed in a Holiday Inn last night. Better yet, maybe you should till this blows over. Good luck.
  6. Give yourself plenty of room between you and the car in front. You will be fine. There may be some issues with a steeper wet ramp also. Pulling out of the lake on a steeper ramp could be a problem. Just chunck a tow rope in so someone can help you up the ramp if you ever need the help.
  7. Muddy, Welcome back.
  8. Ask your doctor for the colored pictures. I framed mine, but my wife would not let me hang it up in the house. I hung it in the garage instead and it came up missing a few days later.
  9. I have no problem with anyone wearing anything they like. Fishing is suppose to be a fun experience. If wearing the clothing makes you feel better and more enjoyment is achieved, so be it. I do wear an American Rodsmiths cap because I know one of their salesmen and he gave four rods to me, and the cap. I wear my club shirt when fishing club tournaments, or my Skeeter shirt and jacket that came with the boat. I have a closet full of fishing apparal that has been won or given to me over the years that I do not wear at all. One thing I will not do though is wear a tournament shirt with product logos that I do not use.
  10. X2, best post of the thread.
  11. I quit for 4 years back in the mid 80s. When I started back they were still holding exactly where I left them.
  12. Sometimes they will decommit at the last moment and a hook will ****** them.
  13. Welcome
  14. Glad to see that Falcon is not on the scheldule. Guess they wore out their welcome.
  15. That guy is nuts.
  16. You are required to conduct your life, business, and all other activities as thought you live in a glass house. Every minute of every day you are on stage so to speak.
  17. Update. The 13 year old angler and his father are meeting today with the rod manufacturer to finalize his participation with the company. He is also fishing the junior bassmasters tournament later this year. I spoke with his father Saturday at our monthly club tournament and hopefully the notice will be released shortly. What a great opportunity for a super young fisherman.
  18. Not as long as there is a threat or chance that they may fire them at us or our troops in that area. Only way to keep the peace is to carry a bigger stick and let your advisary know that you will use it.
  19. Zellamander, send me your email address. I have the info on the college national championship that they are fishing in Arkansas this weekend. It will help you.
  20. Mustad 1/0 straight shank worm hook.
  21. Instead of tying my weight to the line I use the small red plastic thingies that you can slide up and down the line to hold slip sinkers. When you hang it up you just pull on it the weight comes off, therefore no more breakoffs due to a hung up sinker. just thread it back on below the sinker and you are ready to go.
  22. Rage tail craws, baby brushhogs, sweet beavers.
