  1. If you are fishing the Big Game green you will be back.
  2. I have no idea and I certainly had no idea that NAPA was selling parts for outboards. Good luck
  3. Sounds to me as if you have allready answered your own question. Get the new boat.
  4. OEM worms. I fish Zoom, Senkos, & Tiki Sticks. Nothing else. I have no problem with any of them coming apart. The more hardware you put on a lure the more chance a fish will recognise it as a fake. An o-ring will certainly cut into a worm on a stout hookset. I use a 1/0 straight shank Mustad worm hook on my trick worms. It has worked for years.
  5. there are hundreds. PM sent.
  6. Our club makes an effort to see that everyone that wants to fish is paired up with a boater. You might check around for another club in your area. Sounds like this one has a bunch of borther-in-lawing going on anyway. Not good for the health of the club in my opinion.
  7. Welcome Enjoy
  8. Jig & crawworm Brown/green, cinnamon, black/blue, camo, Smoke Lizards Watermelon/Red, Green/Pumpkin, black/blue, Camo Senkos & worms Watermellon/Red, Camo, PB&J, Black/Blue, Cinnamon Concetrate on the grass nearest the deeper water.
  9. Have not found a wrong way to fish a Senko
  10. Welcome Enjoy

  12. I have an idea. throw the Fireline and the Spiderwire away and start over. I cannot fish with either. They both suck. IMO
  13. Not 5 mph worth. Look at the hub. If rpms are the same and the mph is off you might start looking for other things.
  14. I am partial to the Minn-Kota. Not partial to the foot operated though. I prefer the hand operated model. Cheaper and you do not have to worry about the dang foot cable breaking on you. JMO.
  15. Stick with the carpet. Easier on the body. JMO.
  16. I fish 5/0 and 6/0 hooks on my frogs. With braid of course.
  17. Gene Larew Zoom V & M
  18. Shakey heads 8-10" Lizards 71/4" worms Senkos Trick worms Series 6 Crankbaits DD-22s Jigs W/crawworms
  19. I use the Plano plastic boxes for everything except plastics. They are labeled for size and season. I rotate them in and out of my boat due to season and conditions. All plastics are kept in original packages and hung on particle board in my garage. That way it is easy to keep a count on the ones that need to be restocked. As for a bag to carry them in it is usually a BPS plastic bag that a purchase came in. I just throw it in the boat and dig out the package I need.
  20. Our club throws out your largest bass and then weighs the other four.
  21. Red, I wish I could help. Strange that a club would require you to have to locate a new member with a boat to join. You would think that the club would be responsible to put you in a boater's boat for each tournament.
  22. A 7 year fishing ledges? That's amazing, he has been well taught and seems to grasp everything well. Congratulations on a great time with the family.
  23. Bright bluebird days after a front the fish tend to either move tight to cover or suspend out over the creeks and channels. Since the suspending fish are the hardest for me to catch I concentrate on the tight to cover senario. I fish very slow and when tight I mean let your lure scrape the bark on a tree or stump when when pitching. I will concentrate on the cover closest to a creek channel or other available deeper water. I will crash the grass with a 1oz. or 1 1/4oz. weight on a plastic of choice or the same size jig and crawworm. If forced to fish for suspending fish I will try to locate the depth that the shad are relating to by using my depth finder and ideling around a pocket out over the nearest channel and run a fast moving crankbait at that level. Good luck
