  7. Congratulations on the second place finish.
  8. Not necessarly. When the hub spins you will still have some power, the hub can slip and keep the boat from having enough power to put the boat on plane. The RPMs will go up, but it will lose the power at the prop as it tends to slip instead of turning the prop correctly.
  9. We refer to it as Gorilla snot. Not sure what the correct name is.
  10. Certain baits of any manufacturer seem to have a few of each design that outfish lures of the same design. My box contains the lures that have proven themselves to catch more fish. Reguardless of the type lure it goes into the box and is only used on tournament day.
  11. I use the Bolle' as they have four different sets of lens that you can change out as conditions warrant. I also have a pair of Costa del Mar that have the amber lens. They both work great; however, if you use a pair of snuggles I would reccommed the Costas as the Bolle' do not attach well with the type of ear pices used on them. JMO
  12. I keep my rod tip in the water and reel like crazy.
  13. Sounds like a spun hub. Even though you say the prop is new it only takes one time to spin it. Paint a line across the hub and prop, try it several times, check the prop to see if the line is still straight or if part has moved. If it has moved the hub needs to be replaced.

  16. 99% of the time it will be either fuel or electrical. Do not just start exchanging parts. Carry it some where and have the diagonostics run to save you a lot of money.
  17. 12.4 caught fishing with a guide on Orange lake in North Florida in 1977. Fishing with a large shiner.
  18. I would buy it. With my limited education(two years of college) not sure how it would help me due to my limited education. Reading and understanding how it relates might be over my head. In fact it most surely would be. Depending on how it is worded someone like myself may have a real problem putting the two and two together. JMO Paul, keep coming with your post. Even though I lose tract on some of them I enjoy reading your thoughts.
  19. The key phrase is that "you are on the water".
  20. Boat ramps in the summer are always good for a few laughs.
