I am very careful about it. If I am fishing a one hook lure I tend to do it; otherwise I either lift them in with the rod or net them. The cost of a net is miniscule when you compare it to a trip to the ER Youy have to be careful if you try to lip a hot fish. It's best to let them tell you what to do. If I am tournament fishing it is always the net and my handle is ten ft long.

Three kids in their momma's lincoln cut through a parking lot couple of hours ago and hit my truck. I got out and when they opened the doors the smell of you know what filled the air. It broke a fog light(72.08) on mine but ruined one of the european headlight assemblys on their car. That will be about a grand. They did not want the police called and I was in a hurry. I just let them go and went and bought the fog light. Came back the same way and the police had them pulled over. The driver that hit my truck was cuffed. They had hit another car in the same lot. Momma is going to be real happy. I did stop and let the police know what had happened earlier. He said it will be a while before he drives again. His momma works for the Harris county sherrif's office here in Houston. I spoke with her and she told me to come by the office over the weekend or next week and she would repay me. Bet his holiday will suck.

Cannot see how thick he is. I would say around 6 give or take a 1/2. Hard to tell though just looking at the mouth and length.

Our club holds a Thursday evenging(5-8) tournament on Rayburn. We have acquired 14 new members within the last year from that alone. We have 34 members and 25-30 fish each month. Very competitive.

Our club follows the rules of most of the major circuits No fishing within 50 yards of another boat either anchored or with the TM in the water unless approved by the other boat.

Glad ya'll are ok. Unfortunately some never learn the leson until it is too late.

I resent that. Making a broad general assumption as that is childish and inmature. I see that you are 24, that probably explains it. For the record I have been fishing tournaments since before you were even born. When you have the experience to travel across state lines to fish lakes you have never seen and have to contact friends to tow your winnings home you might qualify to make a statement like that. Otherwise your time might be better spent standing in a bass boat and trying to figure out a viable pattern.

Go with the 565. I have one on my boat and like it.

I have a straight 24v. Red to positive of one battery black to negative of other battery Jumper cable to positive on one to the negative on the other. when they are wired this way you must disconnect the jumper cable and charge the batterys seperately.
