Well if I blow the Merc on my skeeter, I can still fish. Probably need to fish it that way for a while anyway. Trim it up and hit the troller.

I could fish 7 days a week if I could afford it. And no I am not retired.

I broke a fish off on a hook set several years ago fishing a lizzard. Sat down retied and caught the same fish the next cast on an identical lizzard. He still had my other lizzard stuck in the corner of his mouth.

I would not think so. Most of the bass are long gone when they move in. At least that is the case down south.

I have sworn off floro until they make a better product. Other than braid I use Trilene Big Game in green.

I tried to use vanish when it came out. Too many issues with it. Try something else.

Sounds to me like the pawl needs replacing.

I fish big game(green) and nothing else for my mono. A 900yd spool from academy cost 6.99.

I do not own a jig with a rattle. On the rare occasion that I end up with one I cut the rattle off. I fish Oldham Trailer hitch jigs mostly.
